Born in Washington D.C and raised in rural town in Montgomery County Maryland, Dr. Ragland dreamed of living successfully in New York City. She began her academic tenure at the University of Maryland earning a Bachelor Degree in Biology. While attending Maryland she assisted in dermatologic research at the National institutes of Health (NIH) where she was introduced to the field of podiatry from a fellow colleague.
Dr. Ragland was enticed by the surgical aspect of the field, and had envisioned early as to where she could take her career and the practice of corrective foot surgery. During her surgical residency tour, at Wykoff Heights Medical Center, Dr. Ragland’s surgical skills, charisma, and likeminded foresight appealed to Dr. Stuart J. Mogul, renowned reconstructive foot and ankle surgeon and the father of cosmetic foot surgery. They are currently teamed up practicing next to New York’s legendary Dakota Building.
Due to overwhelming demand, Dr. Ragland has expanded her practice to the Washington Metropolitan area of downtown Silver Springs Maryland
