I, Dr. Tibor Gershkovich, MD, am practicing pediatric medicine for the last 35 years of my life: 18 years in Europe and from 1994, in the United States. I cannot imagine my life without being a pediatrician; to see sick children getting better under my care, to see how tiny premature newborns are gaining weight, starting to sit, walk, and talk, and to smile at me. These are all indescribable feelings of joy for me.

I am affiliated with three hospitals in the tri state area: Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, and Methodist Hospital, all at which I see my private patients. I enjoy my practice on a daily basis but I also like to travel around the world a lot. I have an interest in collecting stamps, coins, copies of famous paintings, watching soccer and baseball games. My favorite teams are the New York Rangers and Knicks.
