After completing her medical studies she remained in New York where she completed her internship and residency at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Center in 1999. Dr. Chung's main interest is in kidney diseases, dialysis, kidney transplant, and kidney stone prevention. However, she believes that treating the whole person is important to good health. Although she specializes in kidney diseases, she devotes a significant part of her practice to patients with primary care/internal medicine issues.
