Dr. Susan Minkowitz joined NYU Internal Medicine Associates - The Miller Practice in May 2010. She has been serving residents of the Lower East Side with top-notch medical care infused with a healthy dose of compassion. Prior to coming to NYU, Dr. Minkowitz served on the medical staff at St. Vincent's Medical Center since 1997. Before joining St. Vincent's, Dr. Minkowitz was an attending physician for the Montefiore Medical Group in the Bronx, an attending physician for both Bronx Municipal Hospital Center and Manhattan's Metropolitan Hospital, and Assistant Director of Metropolitan's Residency Training Program.
After earning her medical degree from New York Medical College, Dr. Minkowitz completed both a residency in internal medicine at Metropolitan Hospital and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is board Certified in Internal Medicine and has a special interest in Pulmonology diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, hypertension and chronic obstructive pulomary disease (COPD).
