Steven J. Dr. Lee graduated from a highly competitive 6-yr accelerated college/medical school combined program at Lehigh University and the Medical College of PA. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, his Hand/Upper Extremity Fellowship at NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases, and a 2nd fellowship in Sports Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, the oldest sports medicine fellowships in the country. During his training, he participated in the care of the NY Jets, Islanders, Rangers and Hofstra University Athletics. Dr. Lee has served as the team physician for the NJ Red Dogs and Gladiators Professional Arena Football teams, Hofstra University Athletic teams, and a consultant for the PGA tour. He is actively engaged in research and has over 50 publications and presentations at national meetings. Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Association, the latter being the oldest, most prestigious orthopaedic association in the world, signifying honor and accomplishment in orthopedics and a commitment to active leadership.
