Dr. Lynn graduated from Swarthmore College and the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He has been named the "Emergency Physician of the Year" by the New York Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and was recently given its first-ever Distinguished Career in Emergency Medicine award. In 1981 Dr. Lynn became the Director and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. He served as the Department Chair for more than twenty years, filled the important role of Emergency Medicine Residency Director, and until recently, was a full-time Senior Faculty Member of the Department teaching residents in training. Dr. Lynn has lived and raised a family within one block of the West 69th St. Urgent Care Manhattan site, and has been an active member of the Upper West Side Community for over 40 years.
