Dr. Sharanjit Burmy is an optometrist treating patients in New York City and the surrounding communities. She holds certification from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. For her undergraduate degree, Dr. Burmy attended the University of British Colombia in Canada. She pursued her doctoral degree in optometry at the State University of New York, State College of Optometry. While there, Dr. Burmy was the recipient of academic recognition including a Charles and Mildred Schnurmacher Foundation Merit Scholarship and placement on the Dean’s List.
Patients visiting Dr. Burmy can receive a full range of optometric services. She provides general eye consultations, glaucoma consultations, and fittings for contact lenses and eyeglasses. Treatment is also available for issues including eye infection, eye emergencies, and double vision.
