Salma Pothiawala, MD, MPH is a board certified dermatologist practicing in New York City. She earned her B.S in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida. She attended medical school at the University of South Florida College of Medicine where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She also earned a Master of Public Health Degree from the Harvard School of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health. Dr. Pothiawala then completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, FL.
Dr. Pothiawala specializes in general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She has written numerous articles in leading dermatology journals and has published several book chapters in various dermatology textbooks. She has also given presentations at many national dermatology meetings.
