Dr. Richard Mark has practiced Clinical Medicine for more than 25 years. He prides himself on providing patients with personalized, comprehensive professional care. Several NYC groups have honored him for his community service as well as by his affiliate hospital for patient care and teaching excellence.
Dr Mark was a Professor of Medicine at the City University Medical School where he was awarded “Teacher of the Year” several times during his tenure. He is the recipient of The American College of Physicians Preceptorship Award for his service to Medical Students and Residents.
Dr. Mark graduated at the top of his class from UAG in Mexico where he initiated and directed a student program that provided free medical services to indigent patients. He completed his training at the State University of New York Medical School and Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Dr. Mark is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Interamerican College of Physicians as well as many national and state medical organizations.
Dr. Mark is listed in “The Guide to America’s Top Physicians” as well as “Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare”, “Who’s Who in America” and “Who’s Who in the World”.
One of Dr. Mark’s prime interests is Preventive Medicine and has developed several programs designed to encourage patients to be proactive in maintaining their health and well-being.
Dr. Mark speaks several languages, Hebrew, French, and Spanish.
