In 1988, after graduating with the HIGHEST HONORS (ALPHA OMEGA ALPHA) from the USC School of Medicine, he completed his five-year General Surgery residency at THE NEW YORK HOSPITAL CORNELL MEDICAL CENTER in Manhattan in 1993.
