Dr. Ramez Habib graduated from Columbia College, after which he attended Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and joined his father Dr. Mohsen Habib in private practice in Brooklyn. He has been successfully treating adult and pediatric patients since that time. He is board certified in Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and holds an academic appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.
Dr. Habib is the senior partner at each of the Brooklyn clinical locations at which he practices. He treats all aspects of ear, nose, and throat medicine for pediatric and adult patients of all ages. He has a particular interest in breathing and snoring disorders, including allergic and surgical management (utilizing state of the art minimally invasive balloon sinuplasty techniques). He also specializes in ear and balance disorders, with a specific focus on hearing restoration. Dr. Habib prides himself on providing care that is individually tailored to the needs of each patient/family, while educating for long term preventative care.
His areas of interest are in adult and pediatric ENT, sinus disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, head and neck disease, and disorders of the thyroid/parathyroid. Dr. Mitzner is affiliated with the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Pennsylvania Academy of Otolaryngology.
