Dr. Chang completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania earning his Bachelor of Arts degree. From there, he continued his education at Penn graduating with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He then studied oral and maxillofacial surgery at both the University of Nebraska Medical Center and the University of Tennessee Medical Center. After completing his training in dental medicine, he furthered his education at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Once he earned his doctorate in medicine, he served his general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
