After doing undergraduate studies at Princeton University, Dr. Brooks received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. She followed that with an internship at New York Hospital, Queens, then completed a residency in ophthalmology at Rutgers University. She was also a vitreoretinal fellow at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA.
Dr. Brooks has co-written professional papers and given presentations at several professional meetings. She specializes in helping patients with macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments and other eye problems.
In her free time, Dr. Brooks enjoys traveling, running, tennis, theater, music, and modern dance.
