Dr. Nelya Lobkova completed her undergraduate studies in molecular biology at the State University of New York - College at New Paltz with cum laude honors while competing in Women’s NCAA-level Nordic skiing championships. Dr. Nelya Lobkova completed her undergraduate studies in molecular biology at the State University of New York - College at New Paltz with cum laude honors while competing in Women’s NCAA-level Nordic skiing championships. Dr. Nelya Lobkova received her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011 where she was inducted into the Pi Mu Delta National Podiatric Service Honor Society and received the APMA Educational Foundation Scholarship for her academic excellence. Dr. Lobkova's residency training as Chief Resident was completed at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, Israel, where she received extensive training in all facets of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with emphasis on diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Lobkova is committed to providing her patients with the most exceptional and compassionate treatment of all foot and ankle ailments. As an avid athlete and New York Road Runners member, Dr. Lobkova has a particular passion for diagnosing and treating sports medicine injuries, such as those commonly experienced by runners, skiers, and bikers. She specializes in the latest running and biking techniques. Dr. Lobkova takes pride in providing medical attention to those in need and graciously volunteers her services at the TCS and ING NYC Marathon, NYC Ironman Championship, and Mount Sinai Community Health Fair. Dr. Lobkova is a Fellow of the prestigious New York Academy of Medicine.
