Dr. Michael Stefan is a double board-certified plastic surgeon in Miami, Florida. He specializes in body contouring, including tummy tucks and mommy makeovers, as well as breast augmentation.
Over nearly three decades in practice, Dr. Stefan has developed a reputation for producing dramatic transformations with minimally invasive methods. The doctor-patient relationship is at the forefront of Dr. Stefan’s work ethic, and he believes in going above and beyond when it comes to patient care, both before and following surgery.
Before embarking on a medical career, Dr. Stefan studied art history and medical science at New York University. His education in fine arts honed his keen eye for aesthetics. After graduating from NYU, he went on to receive his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He then completed his general surgery residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, and his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Florida. He also attended Georgetown University Medical Center, where he received fellowship training for aesthetic and breast surgery.
Dr. Stefan is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Over the course of his career, he has been honored with numerous awards, including the Vitals Patients’ Choice and Compassionate Doctor Awards.
