Dr. Gonzales, went to Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She did a Galloway Fellowship at Memorial Sloan -Kettering Hospital in New York.
During Dr. Gonzales’ years of practicing medicine and teaching, she has held faculty appointments as an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University. She has received several clinical and national teaching awards: Hands of Healing at Beth Israel Medical Center, Clinical Science Teaching Award from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, CREOG Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education, APGO Teaching Award of Excellence.
As a generalist, Dr. Gonzales’ interests are treating patients with fibroids, laprascopic and hysteroscopic procedures, abdominal, vaginal and minimally invasive surgeries. Dr Gonzales also takes care of patients with low risk pregnancies as well as exercise during pregnancy.
