Dr. Pak is a board certified Physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) and Sports Medicine Specialist with fellowship training in interventional spine techniques. He is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of painful musculoskeletal conditions using cutting edge technologies such as musculoskeletal ultrasound, fluoroscopic imaging and electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS). Dr. Pak is an active member of his specialty and as such, is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) with additional board certification in Sports Medicine. He is a member the International Spine Intervention Society (ISIS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPMR). He volunteers his expertise as a peer-reviewer for the PM&R journal as well as the Annual Meeting for the AAPMR.
Dr. Pak is dedicated to continuing his medical education and teaching other physicians. He has lectured extensively all throughout NYC and has authored several abstracts and publications. Prior to joining Hudson Spine and Pain Medicine, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation at SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he was twice awarded “Teacher of the Year” by his resident trainees. He continues to maintain his position as an Adjunct Faculty member at SUNY Downstate.
In his free time, Dr. Pak enjoys playing volleyball, ultimate frisbee and cooking for family and friends.
