Dr. Feiner is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist. He received his doctorate with honors in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University and trained in psychoanalysis at New York University. He is a Supervising Faculty member of the NYU Post Doctoral Institute for Psychoanalysis and supervised more than 200 students at the NYU Clinical Psychology Program and at Downstate Medical Center, where he also completed a fellowship.

Dr. Feiner has been in private practice for over 25 years, has published over 15 research and clinical papers, and co-authored a book titled “Unconscious Fantasy.” His primary goal as a practitioner is to understand his clients' concerns while providing a supportive and warm environment to help work through obstacles hindering their growth, happiness, and fulfillment.
Dr. Feiner specializes in treating people who seek help with difficulties in relationships. In psychotherapy, he identifies repetitive patterns that interfere with the initiation and/or maintenance of intimate relationships. He also works with people who present with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, ADD/ADHD, anxiety attacks, and depressive states. He cares deeply about his clients and will work with you to establish a trusting, compassionate, and nonjudgmental relationship and to accomplish the goals you bring to therapy.
