Keiko Yanai is an insightful and attentive physical therapist based in New York, NY. Dr. Yanai accomplished her undergraduate career at Queens College in Flushing, NY. She then earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the State University of New York, Stony Brook. After five years of working in hospitals and rehabilitation centers, Dr. Yanai opened her own successful practice in Manhattan. Recently, she added a second practice conveniently located in midtown Manhattan, and she is happy to see patients at either location.
Dr. Yanai thoroughly investigates the source of a patient’s complaint in order to tailor a treatment option that not only addresses the symptoms of the complaint but the underlying cause as well. She recognizes that pain management and physical rehabilitation is a multi-disciplinary process. Consequently, she employs both traditional Western medicine and alternative, holistic methods in her treatment plans for optimal results. Some of the complaints she has managed and treated include scoliosis, herniated disks, sport injuries, and fibromyalgia.
