Dr. Fallahpour is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the director of the Brain Resource Center, New York. Dr. Fallahopour has years of experience in brain mapping methods such as quantitative EEG (qEEG), neuropsycholgical screenings, physiological monitoring, and therapeutic techniques including neurofeedback, biofeedback, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and a number of other related techniques.
He works with both adults and children with a variety of conditions including ADD, ADHD (and various types of learning disabilities), Anxiety, Depression, Brain Injury & Post Concussive Syndrome, Stroke, Pain Disorders, Sleep Disorders, etc. In addition, Dr. Fallahpour works closely with clients on Peak Performance, Brain Fitness, and optimizing brain health and self-regulation in variety of settings such as career and relationships, academia, athletic abilities, executive coaching, and other types of performance enhancement.
Most clients who seek help from Dr. Fallahpour are interested in improving mood, cognition (memory, attention, executive functions, etc.), and enhanced self-regulation but they also want to reduce reliance on medication and be able to manage and optimize functions without pharmaceuticals.
The model he has developed is based on Personalized Medicine and objective assessment techniques and evidenced based interventions that integrates understanding of psychological and neurophysiological systems to arrive at an accurate and objective clinical diagnosis.
Dr. Fallahpour is affiliated with Columbia University College of Surgeons as an Instructor in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt Hospital Center Department of Psychiatry.
