He then trained in both general surgery and plastic surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia & Cornell Medical Centers. After serving as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital- Columbia & Cornell Medical Center, he completed Double Fellowships: he subspecialized in cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital of The NYU Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; he further subspecialized in facial sculpting or Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami.
