Returning to Miami, Dr. de la Pedraja trained in general surgery and plastic/reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He acted as chief resident in both general and plastic/reconstructive surgery. Dr. de la Pedraja continued to pursue his interest in aesthetic and breast surgery with additional specialized fellowship training with the world renowned Dr. Scott Spear at Georgetown University Hospital.
