Dr. Jonathan Kahn, M.D. is an ivy-league educated ophthalmologist and Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at NYU. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, microsurgery of the eye, cornea disease, cataracts, glaucoma, and contact lenses. He provides fantastic care to his patients, from the most basic of eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions to advanced surgeries for cataracts, cornea, and LASIK/PRK.

Dr. Kahn earned his M.D. degree at Northwestern University and studied biomedical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He trained as an ophthalmologist at NYU and pursued a sub-speciality fellowship in Cornea & External Diseases at Tufts Medical Center / Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Dr. Kahn has published over a dozen scientific papers and chapters on vision research and has presented ground-breaking studies at numerous national and international meetings. He has been awarded several distinctions for his presented work. He has recently been appointed the Director of Alumni Affairs in Ophthalmology at New York University. When he's not in the office, he enjoys runs in Central Park and exploring new cuisines in the five boroughs. His research interests include cornea collagen cross-linking and blue-light blocking spectacles.
