Jennifer Marti MD FACS is a dual fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in endocrine, breast & melanoma surgery. Following medical school and general surgery residency at New York University School of Medicine, she completed advanced surgical fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (breast surgery) and Yale (endocrine surgery).
Dr. Marti specializes in the treatment of benign and malignant disorders of the breast, thyroid and parathyroid glands. These conditions include breast pain, lumps, cancer, hyperparathyroidism, hyperthyroidism (Graves disease, toxic multi nodular goiter, solitary toxic adenoma), thyroid cancer, and melanoma. She has expertise in nipple-sparing mastectomy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, thyroidectomy, central compartment lymph node dissection, and modified radical neck dissection. Veracyte Afirma and Thyroseq v2 thyroid FNA analysis is available for indeterminate thyroid nodules.
As an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, she has presented at national meetings, and published in peer reviewed journals in endocrine and breast surgery.
