I have trained and practiced in three major NYC teaching hospitals. In hematology, my primary focus is non-malignant blood disorders, including coagulation problems. I am particularly interested in treating blood disorders that affect fertility (Member Am. Soc.Repro. Med). I believe in effective communication and collaboration with my patients. I seek to determine an approach and a treatment plan that are in the patient’s best interest, and have his or her full acceptance and understanding. Over the course of my career, I have developed strong relationships with a wide circle of excellent specialist physicians throughout the city, to whom I can refer. The experience I developed in pain control while practicing as an oncologist and hospice physician led me to develop expertise in the treatment of opiate addiction. I currently treat a limited number of patients adopting an individualized and personal approach. Qualifications - Board certified in hematology, and in general internal medicine. Board certified in oncology (no longer current). Certification from American Board of Addiction Psychiatry. Faculty Member of NYU Medical Center. Founding Member American Society of Hospice Physicians. No travel vaccines.
