Jay Katzman is a detail-oriented and compassionate gastroenterologist serving his patients in New York City. Dr. Katzman is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to practice gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Katzman is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently.
Dr. Katzman attended the New York University to complete his medical degree. He remained at the institution to complete his rotational internship in internal medicine and his internal medicine residency program. Dr. Katzman then completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the Cornell University.
He welcomes patients to his small, personalized private practice, where he and his staff know all of their patients. Dr. Katzman performs procedures such as upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel capsules, and esophageal pH testing.
When he is not assisting his patients, Dr. Katzman enjoys skiing and weightlifting, in addition to spending time with his wife and their three children.
