Dr. Rehnstrom spent ten years delivering babies and doing gynecologic surgery before deciding to concentrate on office practice, her family and other interests: she is an active member of Physicians for Human Rights and aids victims of female genital mutilation in their applications for asylum in the U.S. She is also the President of Finland Center Foundation, a volunteer nonprofit organization for Finnish culture in New York. Professionally, she is interested in the care of the menopausal woman but welcomes medical challenges of women of all ages.
