Dr. J. Michael Morrissey is a leading board-certified plastic surgeon with nearly three decades in practice. At the Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery Center of Texas in Plano, he performs a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries for the body, specializing breast enhancement, tummy tucks, liposuction, and complete mommy makeovers. He also has a special focus on gynecomastia surgery for men.

Dr. Morrissey received his medical degree at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He began his surgical career as a general surgery intern at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Texas, before entering the United States Air Force. After serving three years as a Captain and Flight Surgeon with the 20th Bomb Squadron at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, Dr. Morrissey returned to Dallas to finish his training in general surgery.
He went on to complete a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison, as well as additional aesthetic surgery training in Miami and San Francisco.
A member of the RealSelf Hall of Fame and a Texas Top Doctor, Dr. Morrissey prides himself on staying current in the latest advances in plastic surgery techniques.
Dr. Morrissey is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
