Ira Blaufarb is a genial, experienced cardiologist serving his patients in New York City. Dr. Blaufarb is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to treat cardiovascular disease and practice nuclear cardiology, and he specializes in women’s cardiac health. Dr. Blaufarb is affiliated with the Mount Sinai Hospital as an associate professor, and he is a staff member with the Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Blaufarb received his medical education from the Jefferson Medical College. He then completed his medical internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital before completing his internal medicine residency at the same institution. He completed two cardiology fellowships, one with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and the other with the Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Blaufarb takes great care in explaining his patients’ conditions and detailing his treatment plans. Many of his cardiac consultations are performed in less than an hour.
In his spare time, Dr. Blaufarb enjoys biking and pursuing his love of business.
