Dr. Henry Wu is a cardiologist treating patients in New York City. His practice specializes in state-of-the-art, noninvasive diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart diseases. Dr. Wu holds certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine, National Board of Echocardiography, and American Board of Cardiac Computed Tomogragphy. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology.
For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Wu attended Columbia College, graduating summa cum laude and with membership in the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Wu pursued his medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He continued his medical education with internal medicine residency training at Cornell University and a fellowship program in cardiovascular medicine at Columbia University. Dr. Wu has also completed a fellowship program in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Harvard University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Patients visiting Dr. Wu can receive a full range of cardiology services. He provides echocardiography, stress testing with echocardiographic imaging, Hotler monitoring, advanced lipid profiling, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, carotid artery imaging, endothelial function testing, and enhanced external counterpulsation therapy. Dr. Wu has focused interests in diastolic dysfunction, endothelial function, cholesterol and fatty acid metabolism.
