Dr. Gila Leiter has practiced for several decades at Mt. Sinai Hospital, delivering thousands of babies and taking care of multiple generations of women. A graduate of Yeshiva University and Albert Einstein Medical School, she is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Vice President of its Attending Association and on the Medical Board.
Dr. Leiter has published and edited many books and articles, including "Everything You Need to Know to Have a Healthy Twin Pregnancy". She is involved in research on postpartum depression, and lectures extensively to medical students and in community health forums, nationally and internationally.
Dr. Leiter resides with her husband and four daughters, including a set of twins, and enjoys long distance running and hiking.
