Dr. Alani’s residency training was completed at Wycoff Heights Medical Center in New York City and at the College Hospital in Costa Mesa, California where she received extensive training in all facets of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with emphasis on diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Alani has a particular passion for diagnosing and treating injuries in athletes such as those commonly experienced by runners, skiers, and dancers. She specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment and management of the foot and ankle including bunion and hammertoe correction, ligament reconstruction, and surgical management of arthritic and sports related injuries.
Dr. Alani is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. Dr. Alani is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Kutchi/ Gujerati.
