Dr. Alani received her doctorate from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois in 2011 where she was awarded a Health Service Award for her professional contributions to rural clinics in Mexico, with LIGA-Flying Doctors of Mercy. Dr. Alani’s residency training was completed at Wycoff Heights Medical Center in New York City and at the College Hospital in Costa Mesa, California where she received extensive training in all facets of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with emphasis on diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
Focusing on exceptional outcomes, Dr. Alani takes pride in providing her patients with the most compassionate and evidence driven, cutting edge treatments of the foot and ankle available. Dr. Alani has a particular passion for diagnosing and treating injuries in athletes such as those commonly experienced by runners, skiers, and dancers. She specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment and management of the foot and ankle including bunion and hammertoe correction, ligament reconstruction, and surgical management of arthritic and sports related injuries.
Dr. Alani is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. Dr. Alani is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Kutchi/ Gujerati.
