Dr. Divya Nandwani received her Bachelor of Science degree from The College of New Jersey, and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in 2012. She then completed her residency in pediatric optometry at SUNY College of Optometry with focus on infant, toddler, and pediatric eye care, children with special needs, strabismus, and vision therapy. She has presented a COPE-approved lecture on hyperopia in pediatric patients.

She also practices at Woodhull Medical Center where she supervises residents and students in pediatric optometry in a hospital setting. She is an active member of American Academy of Optometry, College of Optometrists in Vision Development, American Optometric Association, and New York State Optometric Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants in New York City, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
