Dr. Iskander received her undergraduate degree in 2005 from the University of South Florida. She became a Doctor of Optometry in 2009 after graduating from Nova Southeastern University. This was followed by a residency in Vision Rehabilitation/Primary Care at SUNY College of Optometry in which she received advanced clinical training in diagnosis, treatment and vision rehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injury.

In addition to her private practice work, Dr. Iskander has participated in externships at Tianjin Eye Hospital in Tianjin, China, working on specialties including pediatrics, binocular vision, retina, cornea, and glaucoma. Currently she is providing general eye care including but not limited to general eye exam, treatment and management of dry eyes, glaucoma, as well as other ocular diseases/conditions. She also has a special interest in contact lenses.
