Dr. Williams has dedicated his life to treating sports injuries and teaching proper biomechanics to athletes, as well as any individual interested in leading an active life. He practices a hands-on and comprehensive approach to recovery from injury combined with a focus on the prevention of future injury. His expertise and caring demeanor has earned him the trust of Olympic, professional and collegiate athletes, as well as countless residents in the NY tri-state area that have turned to Dr. Williams so they can better enjoy their active lives. Dr. Williams has been an event coverage doctor for Ironman Lake Placid, New York City Triathlon, Toughman Triathlon, Central Park Triathlon and other local races.
Dr. Williams studied biology at Pace University before receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from the New York Chiropractic College. He began his career at the Rhode Island Spine Center, researching the effects of spinal manipulation and neuro-mobilization in the treatment of spinal stenosis. His findings led to him being published in the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association.
In 2009, Dr. Williams became a nationally recognized member of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, receiving the designation of C.C.S.P. (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician). Additionally, he is full-body certified in Active Release Techniques and the Graston Technique.
