Dr. David Mazza is an allergist serving pediatric patients in the New York area. He values giving each patient attentive, comforting attention, and thorough care. Dr. Mazza is well-recognized as an excellent doctor in the New York area, having been named one of the "Best Doctors in New York" in New York magazine every year from 1998-2013.
After beginning his career in medicine at the University of Vermont Dr. Mazza came to New York for his internship and residency – both in pediatrics at NYU Bellevue Hospital Medical Center. In 1982 he also completed a two-year fellowship in Pediatric Ambulatory Care, Emergency Medicine at Bellevue, where he researched and gained insight into the effects of ulcers in the pediatric age group.
Dr. Mazza has served as Director of Pediatric Ambulatory Care at Booth Memorial Medical Center in Flushing, as well as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. He belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Allergy & Clinical Immunology, and he is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Mazza is an attending physician at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center.
