Dr. David Chu is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is certified to provide acupuncture as an alternative pain treatment. He is also certified to perform electrodiagnostic testing. Dr. Chu completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Chu received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Chu performs peripheral joint injections under ultrasound guidance for various conditions such as osteoarthritis, chronic tendonitis, and bursitis affecting the shoulder, hip, and knee. Treatment under the care of Dr. Chu will involve a focused effort to combine multiple therapies such as physical therapy, therapeutic procedures, and acupuncture to provide maximum effectiveness and success.
Our facility is a multi-disciplinary practice incorporating Board Certified Physicians in Pain Management, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Physical Therapy, and Acupuncture to provide our patients with effective and individualized treatment as quickly as possible.
