Dr. Rubenstein graduated from New York Chiropractic College in April of 1989 with Honors after being appointed Assistant Clinic Director and was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega International Chiropractic Scholastic Honor Society.

After graduation Dr. Rubenstein treated patients at a three facility Holistic Chiropractic Health Clinic in New York City run by Arnold Forster D.C.
In 1990 Dr. Rubenstein served as a team Chiropractor to the United States Freestyle Ski Team (USFST) during the 1990 world cup competition in Calgary, Canada.
In June of 1991 Dr. Rubenstein opened his Park Avenue practice in New York City and a satellite home office in Suffolk County Long Island.
During Dr. Rubenstein's post graduate studies he has become a Certified Clinical Nutritionist through the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists.
Dr. Rubenstein has also obtained diplomate status as a Diplomate of the American Clinical Board of Nutritionists as well becoming a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.
Dr. Rubenstein has also received a First Year Homeopathy Certificate through the New York Chiropractic College's Homeopathy Diplomate Program.
Dr. Rubenstein has recently completed over four hundred hours of Chiropractic Neurology training through the American Chiropractic Associations Neurology Diplomate program and is now eligible to take the Diplomate exam.
Dr. Rubenstein has also met the requirements to take the Applied Kinesiology Diplomate examination to become a diplomate in Applied Kinesiologist through the International Board of Applied Kinesiology.
Dr. Rubenstein recently received the Man of the Year Award 2010 from the Just for Champions Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He has most notably treated 10 degree black belt Grandmaster Hanshi Andrew Linick as well as other martial artists of all rank and style.
Dr. Rubenstein's holistic practice consists of clients from all walks of life who have conditions ranging from colitis to stiff necks, rotator cuff problems to asthma and allergies and from chronic fatigue syndrome to chronic ill health.
Dr. Rubenstein is guided in his practice and driven in his continuous studies by his philosophy. Dr. Rubenstein's philosophy revolves around the concept that the body is a self-healing organism and when stimulated in the right way to balance the system the organism can heal itself.
It is determining where the system needs repair and the proper way to augment it's repair that is the challenge of utmost importance and the reason for Dr. Rubenstein's continual studies and search for answers.
