Christine Vlahos is a highly skilled and attentive physical therapist based in New York City. She earned a Master's in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and has extensive post graduate training in manual therapy, women's health, pelvic health and Pilates for rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the International Pelvic Pain Association and the National Vulvodynia Association.
Christine takes a holistic approach to finding the source of her patients' symptoms. Posture, diet and lifestyle are all considered in the evaluation. Treaments include a wide range of manual techniques and integrative movement therapies. She also recognizes that many conditions are treated with a combination of both conventional and integrative treatments such as acupuncture.
