Dr. Rosenstadt is a graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After serving as an intern and resident in General Surgery at the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, he went on to complete his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt. Upon completion of his residency, he pursued further training as a fellow in Musculoskeletal Trauma with Roy Sanders, M.D., at the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. He then returned to New York, where he completed his training with a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity reconstructive surgery with Dr. Richard Eaton at the C.V. Starr Hand Surgery Center.
Dr. Rosenstadt has authored a chapter on Rheumatoid Arthritis of the Wrist and Hand, in the textbook Clinical Orthopedics published by Williams and Wilkins, and has additionally published in the Journal of Hand Surgery on the subject of hand fractures. He is presently an attending on the Orthopedic and Hand Surgery Service at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital and holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Rosenstadt is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and has a certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Medical Association, the New York Society for Surgery of the Hand and the New York State and County Medical Societies. His present interests include the treatment of hand and upper extremity problems including arthritis, tendon and nerve conditions, complex fractures and athletic injuries.
