Dr. Bellovin is a lifelong New Yorker, born and raised in Canarsie, Brooklyn. He attended college at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the top-ranked medical schools in the nation.
His training continued with an Internship and Residency at Kings County-Downstate Medical Center. He served an additional year there as Chief Resident, overseeing the training of the other interns and residents. His cardiology training was done at Bellevue Hospital-New York University Medical Center. He is now Board Certified in both Cardiovascular Disease as well as Internal Medicine.
He is currently a Senior Assistant Attending at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, and a member of the Queens County Medical Society.
