Dr. Babak Mohajer, MD is a board certified physician in Gastroenterology. Dr. Mohajer received his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, where he ended his Internal Medicine training as Chief Resident.
Following his residency, Dr. Mohajer served a three-year fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California at Irvine.
Dr. Mohajer joined Gramercy Park Physicians in 2000, where he practiced Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology for over 10 years.In March 2011, he went on his own to start his solo practice at 155 5th avenue. All this time, he has also served as Associate Attending in Medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center. He received teacher of the year award in 2003 during his early years as an attending.
Currently, Dr. Mohajer is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association.
