Dr. Podhorodecki is a graduate of the medical school at the University of Melbourne 1980. After 2 years of internal medicine residency and general practice, she came to New York City for residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine from 1983 to 1986 at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center. She became board certified in this specialty in 1987.
She has been in private practice for 25 years at Saint Mark’s Rehab, PLLC, as well as the multispecialty Manhattan Medical Center, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
She practices Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Sports Medicine and general Rehab Medicine and supervises an excellent team of physical therapists in both centers. She is an Allergan Physician Speaker and a qualified injector of Botox for hyperhidrosis, migraine headaches, cervical dystonia and spasticity.
Hospital affiliations include Beth Israel Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical Center (includes resident teaching). She is a consultant at Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home.
She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at New York Medical College and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College.
