Dr. Abed graduated from the American University of Beirut’s Medical Center in 1983 with his medical degree. He remained at the institution to complete both his internal medicine internship and residency. Dr. Abed completed another internal medicine residency at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center as well as his pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship. Dr. Abed serves as the medical directory of respiratory care and a senior attending physician at the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. He welcomes patients that are experiencing COPD, sleep apnea, and pneumonia, among other pulmonary ailments.
