Dr. Brown completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital in their child and adolescent psychiatry and family crisis program.
Dr. Brown has served as a facilitator as well as a practicing psychologist. She has supervised interns at Pace University, and supervised the Advanced Training Program and Group Track for the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services. After having worked for hospitals and schools for decades, Dr. Brown now focuses on her private practice. There, she offers counseling for psychotherapy, adolescent issues, psychoanalysis, anxiety, cognitive therapy, depression, divorce counseling, group therapy, parent counseling, and relationship issues.
