Dr. Alexander Mauskop joined our practice in July 2013 after earning a reputation as an outstanding cardiovascular fellow at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is a graduate of the combined BA/MD program at CUNY Brooklyn College where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He then earned Alpha Omega Alpha Honors upon getting his MD degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.

He trained in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center where he earned the Libby Award for the most outstanding medical resident. He then completed his cardiovascular fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition to being an extremely compassionate and skilled physician, he is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
