In 2007, Dr. Druif earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. He completed an internship in general surgery at Peninsula General Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY, followed by a family medicine residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. After finishing his residency in 2010, Dr. Druif provided medical care as a physician at RiteCare Medical Center in Miami, Florida before moving to New York to join Excel Urgent Care.
Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Druif is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He speaks fluent Dutch and is semi-fluent in Spanish and French.
