Dr. Alejandro Posada is an orthopaedic surgeon treating patients in Miami, Florida, and the surrounding communities. He holds certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is affiliated with Coral Gables Hospital. Dr. Posada is also a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
In order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Posada attended the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He continued his medical education at the University of Miami. Here, he completed an internship in general surgery, received residency training in orthopaedic surgery, and completed a sports medicine fellowship program. Dr. Posada has also completed a fellowship program in sports medicine at Harvard University.
