Dr. Adam Skolnick completed the 8-year combined BA-MD program at Brown University. He then trained at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, for both his internship and residency in internal medicine. He then returned home to New york to complete training in cardiovascular disease at NYU Medical Center, where he was twice awarded the Fellow of the Year and served as chief cardiology fellow. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He has been active in clinical research with a particular interest in acute coronary syndromes and valve disease in older adults, and has nearly 20 publication in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Skolnick serves as the Associate Director of the telemetry service at NYU Medical Center. He is available for consultations on preventative cardiology, Arrhythmias, palpitation, valve disease, syncope, coronary syndromes and heart failure.
