Aaron Jones is a Physical Therapist with extensive hands-on experience in treating sports and spinal injuries. He provides treatment to a wide range of clients, from elite level athletes to weekend warriors and from office professionals to children and the elderly.
Having recovered from a number of knee and spinal injuries himself, Aaron has witnessed the benefits of physical therapy first-hand. This personal experience, coupled with his education and professional expertise, provides him with unique insights aimed at helping his patients to not only recover from injury, but to remain healthy and injury-free.
Aaron takes a highly personalized approach to physical therapy - one that focuses on the whole person, rather than just the specific injury. While he provides caring and supportive physical treatment to all of his patients, Aaron also believes in equipping each person with the specific knowledge they need to prevent future injury. Towards that end, it is his goal is to have his patients know more about their body upon completion of physical therapy in addition to feeling better.
Aaron earned a Masters in Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from the University of Sydney, Australia. Prior to that, he graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation from the University of Wollongong, Australia. Before joining NY SportsMed, Aaron practiced as a physical therapist in Australia, where he was a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).
